THE LOST CONVOY. LONDON, October 22. In the House of Commons, Commander Carlyon Bellairs demanded an independent inquiry into the loss of the neutral convoy in the North Sea last week. He declared that the escort was obviously inadequate. Dr. . J. McNamara (Parliamentary [Secretary to the Admiralty replied that the Government was not prepared for such an inquiry, but a naval inquiry would be arranged. MUTINY IN GERMAN NAVY. AMSTERDAM, October 22. The “Vossische Zeituug” says that the Kaiser refused to accept von Capelle’s resignation from the post of Naval Secretary. OSTEND BOMBARDED. GOOD RESULTS REPORTED. # LONDON, October 22. The Admiralty reports: Our ships bombarded naval works at Ostend on Sunday. Photographs show that the results were satisfactory
