FIRE AND EXPLOSION. CAUSED BY BOMBS. GREAT DAMAGE TO WHEAT. Received 10.15. NEW YORK, Oct 15. Fire and explosion at Brooklyn destroyed 700 000 bushels of wheat, which were intended for the Allies. The estimated damage is one and a•half million dollars. Investigation shows the fire was caused by bombs. SECOND LIBERTY LOAN. SUBSCRIPTIONS FLOW IN. R;eceivtfd 8.35 J. NEW YORK, Oct 15 The subscriptions to the Second Liberty Loan already total 525, 000 dollars. It is expected there will be a great increase of subscriptions before it closes on the 27th October.
