TENNIS.

The annual meeting of the Taihape Tennis Club will be held in the Town

Hall Supper Eoom on Wednesday next 10th inst, at 8 p.m. All members and intending members are expected to be present. The coming season promises to be as successful as last season. The courts are now under thor-

ough overhaul and will be in first rfass playing order in a few weeks At present learners and others can avail themselves of No. 3 court, which will not be under repair until Nos. 1 and 2 are completed. The membership this year promises to be larger than that of'last year and it behoves all present and intending members interested in the sport to attend the annual meeting and help the club along as the club will rely chiefly on the efforts of the lady players until conditions are again normal, their presence is particularly requested at the meeting in order that their interests will receive the attention they deserve.
