AMERICA AFTER THE WAR. NO ENTANGLING, ALLIANCES. Received 9.20. NEW YORK Sept 18. Vice-President Marshall stated in a speech that at the close of the war America must be left free to resume her isolation untrammelled by entangling alliances with European nations. He added: “This expresses but lamely President Wilson’s views.”
