WOMEN’S WORKING CLUB.

A meeting of the Executive Com mittee of the Women’s Working Glut was held in the Club Rooms last, even--ing there being present Mesdaxaes Miller, Turnbull, MeAuliffe, Boyd, Bennett, McDonald, Miss secretary) and Messrs. D. Neagle (chair) and W. J. Munro. Apologies for absence were received from Mrs. Sliute, Miss Spooner and Messrs. Dunbar and Evans.

A letter enclosing a cheque for £3 from , Miss McCormick from a dance at Koeke was. received and a vote of thanks was passed for the donation to the club’s fund. The contents of Christmas Parcels being sent to all soldiers from Taihape District are: —Cake 2 lbs, pudding 2. lbs, 50 cigarettes, tin of tobacco, tin of milk, tin of coffee, I pack cards, I towel, 3 safety pius. The value of this parcel including postage is 17/6.
