MILITARY SERVICE.

THE FIRST DIVISION. , TO KB CALLED UP EN BLOC. " THE SECOND DIVISION. iSMAY BE CALLED UP WITHOUT BALLOT. WELLINGTON, this day. It is understood that remaining names on the Roll of the First Division of Reservists, nirmbering about seven thousand, will be called up en Woe. The present legislation gives no r power to do this, but an amendment to the Expeditionary Force Act will be introduced giving the necessary authority. It is probable, also, that the Second JDivisioners will be similarly called up without a ballot in classes where there are only sufficient men for one draft. Thus, if the draft balloted from one class has left "only sufficient for one more draft, it wll be unnecessary to apply the ballot to the remainder.
