PRESBYTERIAN ANNUAL MEETING.

The annual meeting of the faihape- , Presbyerian community was held in * the Presbyterian Church Hall last evening. It was an enthusiastic gathering, and it was made the occasion of a social re-union. The report and statement of accounts were presented, which clearly detailed thework of the Church during the past year, and reflected correctly the finan- J cial position. Other reports defi-.* nitely disclosed that the usual organisations, such as the Sunday School and Ladies’ Guild were flourishing and doing remarkably good'and effective work. After the business had been disposed of the ladies handed round refreshments, and a really entertaining muscial programme was submitted.
