The British Socialist Party ha s pared a statement for submission to the Inter-AHied Conference next week, calling workers to intervene and bring the war to a speedy conclusion, to utilise the economic and political situation to' bring about the transition from capitalism to co-oper-ation, demand peace without annexations or indemnity, that reparation Be made from a common fund under international control whereto all belligerents shall contribute. The restoration of Belgium is essential to peace. Alsace and Lorraine should
determine its own government, Poland and Armenia similarly, while the Balkans should form a confederation. Turkey should have Mesopotamia, and Germany regain her . lost colonies. The manifesto opposeseeonmic interference with German, trade, and declares hostility to tariff barriers, and favours a League of Nations to determine disputes.
