A DAMAGED SUBMARINE TOWED TO ZEEBRUGGE. AMSTERDAM, Aug. 15. Two German torpedo boats towed a large submarine to Zeebrugge. The submarine was rammed in the North Sea and badly damaged. ANOTHER STEAMER MISSING. - SUSPICIOUS CIRUCMSTANCES MELBOURNE, Aug. 16. The Navy Office reports that the Burns-Philp steamer Matunga, en route from Sydney to Rabaul, is 7 days overdue. It is feared she has been lost as the result of an internal explosion. She carried a small military detachment for Rabaul.
