AGAINST BOY SOLDIERS,
CARTERTON, this day,
A meeting of the Second Division League held here on Saturday unanimously passed the following resolution to be forwarded to the Minister of Defence and the member for the district: “That this meeting of members of the Second Division League very strongly protests against the proposed action of the Government in calling up youths of 19 years of age to serve at the battle front.”
