METHODIST CHURCH SOCIAL

A very enjoyable social was held in the Methodist Schoolroom last night. About 40 or 50 people were present, and a programme of musical and vocal items was rendered. Between these items various games anti a competition were indulged in, and later supper was partaken of, provided by the ladies of the choir and others. This is the second of a series of monthly socials which are to be held during the next few months. A collection was taken up to help in the reduction of the debt on the church. The programme comprised' the following items: Pianoforte solo, Miss Iris Missen; songs, Miss Blanche Powell 2), Rev. Fordyce; recitations, Misses Ballinger,: Menzies and E. Lovell.
