The best club scores wer made by P. E. Wakeman, G. Bra and D. Neagie, who followed eac other closely A D. N. Train also plaj ed well in this competition. The Junior Eclectic Competition t< suited H. A. O ’Callaghan 46 —8< —3S R. J. McDonell, 54—13 —41; W. I Fookes 57 —9—48; A. L. Upchurcl 67 —10 —57, H. O Callaghan the wii ner put up a good score off the clu and one up to the senior standard. Mi Doneli also played well considerin his long" absence from the links.

In this conte; Wakeman played exceedingly well h doughty opponent considering it wj the best competition game yet put v against him. Next week end the: the first rour of the Championship will be playe The club will shortly lose Miss Co son who departs for .Sydney at. s early date. Miss Corson has been' prominent lady member of the club ; her handicap shows was at one tin best lady player. Miss Corson will 1 replaced in Taihape by Miss Bell, last year’s member of the club ax one whom it is hoped, will again jo up on arrival here.
