Dalgety and Co. Ltd., Palmerston North, report having held their usual fortnightly sale at Taihape'oii July 18 when a good entry of sheep came to hand. There was a good attendance of buyers and all fines were disposed of under the hammer. The demand for lambs was strong but aged ewes in lamb were inclined to he neglected. We quote:— i

Mixed aged ewes in lamb 23s to 255, 4-5 year ewes 22/6 to 24/6, 2 tooth wethers 34s to 3C/S, wether lambs to 245, mixed lambs 9 2/6 to 23/6, mixed lambs 22/6 to 23/5, small lambs 16/ to 19/. cull lambs 7/ to 9/10.
