AN IMPORTED DISEASE. MELBOURNE, July 16. Senator Pearce expresses the 4nxiety of the medical concerning a new parasitic 'disease which is affecting returned soldiers from Egypt and is known as Bilharzia, a disease usually acquired during bathing in affected water. The larvae worm penetrated the skin and infests the bladder and adjacent organs. The authorities are taking necessary precautions to prevent the acclimatisation of the disease.
