IN THE AIR.
WAR WILL BE WON IN THE AIR. BERNARD SHAW’S OPINION. Received 9.15. NEW YORK, July 16. The “Tribune’s” London representative interviewed Mr. Bernard Shaw, who advocated the bombardment of German towns by aeroplanes. This is not reprisals, but merely military operations. The war will be won in the sky, not in the trenches. Now that experimental attacks have been made on London we had better look after gas masks and helmets. Mr. Shaw is working on a scheme to protect children’s playground from air attacks.
