FOOTBALL NOTES
An interesting game is promised on Saturday between the Taihape Maori team and the Tafciape Pirates. The Maori team is reported to be a strong one and will put up a first-class game against the Taihape team. The match will start at 3 p.m. and in this respect players of both sides are requested to be ready to take the field before 3 p.m., as in the past matches have not started until a quarter of an hour or more later than the advertised time.
