With a view to assisting the war loans, the Australian Jockey Club has' derided to pay fifty per cent, of the added money given in the various events in the shape of war savings certificates. The Federal Government will appoint committees from the various sporting bodies in the different districts to make recommendations regarding the reduction of sport.
