Central Africa is still largely an unknown land,; and. its mystery and savagery are exploited in "The Hidden Valley." Traces of ancient civilsation are to be found to this day in many parts of mysterious Africa, and a temple with strange mechanism which is regarded with su- ' perstitious veneration by the savage inhabitants forms a central object in ' "The Hidden Valley." The faultless form of a Greek statue is owned by Mademoiselle Valkyrien, the splendid beautiful heroine of "The Hidden Valley."
