MILITARY APPEAL BOARD.
The following appeals against Military Service were dealt with on Friday:— rIJ. B. O’Brien, W..,Kinkade, T. J. Sullivan, R. J. -Treveua, A. E. Rayner, 1 and P P. Rzoska were all medically -passed for Home Service. i . ’ J. S; Macdonald and J.- Mackenzie did not appear and their appeals^were dismissed. ' v ! 'iHector William Fairbrother, ironmonger, Hunterville, appealed on religious -grounds. In examination he stated that he had previously voluntarily enlisted for non-combatant work. The anpev.l was dismissed, the Board recommending that non-com-batant work, such as stretcher-bear-ing, should be found. Joseph 'Webb, j farmer and stock buyer, asked for time. Given until 25th July. , . Ernest Bougen, farrier, Taihape. This was regarded as a second} division case and the appeal was adjourned sine die. . , James , Fraser, shepherd, Taoroa, was given till 25. th July to go into camp, W. L. Green, farmer, Kawha'tau: Hearing adjourned till next sitting of the Board in Taihape. R. O. White, shepherd, Oruamatua, was ordered to go into camp on 25th July. Erenst Horatio Field, Taihape, was given till 25t-h July, and the case was recommended for financial assistance. H. G. Currie was ordered to go into camp on 25th July. Robert Edward Ireland: This was an application for a recommendation from the Board for release from camp The B'oard had no recommendation to make.
