LONDON PRODUCE MARKETS. HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT. WELLINGTON, June 12. The High Commissioner’s market report, dated London, June 9, is as follows: —

Meat.—Giving to small supply of all descriptions of meat, record prices are being made for. home-killed mutton and beef. Home-killed mutton, per lb, 1/5; home-killed beef, 1/4; New Zealand mutton S 7-Sd; owe mutton, 8Id; Argentine mutton, no supplies available. New Zealand lamb, lOd, demand, in excess of supply. Argentine lamb, lid. Argentine beef, very scarce. Argentine chilled beef —hinds 1/ld, fores KUd. Butter. —The following are the maximum prices fixed to operate during the next two weeks for salted and uusaltcd butter. New Zealand salted, 200/ per cwt; Australian salted, 194/; Irish creamery salted, 190/; Argentine salted 190/; Danish salted, 312/. Cheese. —No maximum prices have been fixed except for English Chcddcr at 140/.

The butter market continues dull, and prices are weaker. Danish salted, 200/ to 202/; New Zealand salted, 180/9 to 188/; unsalted ditto, 188/ to 190/; Australian salted, ISO/ to 182/; Irish creamery, 186/ to 190/. Cheese, 188/ to 192/. No supplies available, no official-suotations.

Hemp.—Manila hemp market shows no change. The output during the last two weeks totalled 30,000 bales. For New Zealand hemp the market is quiet but firm. Prices have slightly advanced for all grades. New Zealand high point fair, to £BS 10s; fair, to £B4 10s; common, to £B2 10s.

Wheat. —The market is steady, and

fair business is being done. Canadian Nu. 2 hard winter, afloat, 80/; No. 2 Manitoba northern, 81/; Australian, 83/.
