PAHIATUA, June 11

Over forty cheese delegates, repre- i senting Pabiatua,. Eketahuna, and Woodville, met here. Mr. Peter Lawson of the Rexdale factory (president) said the dairy farmers during the past year had secured ample demonstration that it was necessary for them, # of they wished to protect themselves from blundering and ignorant politicians, and their more ignorant advisers, to meet more frequently to discuss matters affecting their business, and coming to some understanding as to upon what lines they should proceed and then proceeding along those lines as a united body, not as a number of individuals out of touch with one another.

Ft was resolved to form a Council of chairmen of cheese companies, from Papatawa to Kiparora.
