FRENCH AND GREEKS OCCUPY ENEMY POSITIONS. VENEZELISTS BEHAVE BRIL- . LIANTLY. LONDON, May 7. French Mae(edon\ian communique.— In the regions of Ljumnica, attacks by French and Venizelist contingents occupied advanced enemy positions on a five kilometres front:. Bulgarian coun-ter-attacks -were repulsed by Venizelists. In both actions the Venizelists behaved brilliantly. WAR NOTES GERMANS STEAL BELGIAN MONEY BANK VAULTS RANSACKED. AMSTERDAM, May 8. Falkcnhausen ordered a. general raid on sates in the Belgian bank vaults, where hundreds of millions in cash, bonds, and jewellery were deposited before the war. Belgian safe-makers refused to supply workmen to help open the safes. Falkcnhausen thereupon telegraphed to Germany to send workmen, fearing to blow up the safes lest he should destroy the contents. The Belgians hope the Allies will seize German money in American and Allied banks. COMPLETE CO-ORDINATION. PARIS, May 7. The newspapers state that the An-glo-French Conference has arranged a completely co-ordinated and farreaching military proramme, and has agreed to a common defence against the submarine menace. The decisions will have an important influence on the next few weeks' warfare.
