ANNUAL MEETINGS OF HOUSEHOLDERS. j THE Annual Meetings of Householders for the election of School Committees for the ensuing year will b e held in the respective schools on MONDAY, 30th APRIL, at the time specified in the Notice posted up in each school District. Nominations, signed by the proposers and the candidates, are to be delivered to the Chairmen of the School Committees by 8 p.m. on MONDAY, 23rd APRIL. Nominations may also be made at the Annual Meetings. Immediately after the Annual Meetings the newly-elected Committees shall meet and elect Chairmen. W. H. SWANGER, Secretary. ELECTION OF MEMBER OF WE! LINGTON LAND BOARD. IT IS HEREBY NOTIFIED in accordance with - the provisions of Section 41 of "The Land Act 1905,"' and the Regulations thereunder by Gover-aor-in-Council, that a Vacancy in the Membership of the Wellington Land
Board will occur on June 2nd, 1917, on which date the appointment of Mr. HENRY THOMAS ELLINGHAM to the said Board expires in ordinary course, and that nominations to fill such vacancy will be received at the Office of the Commissioner of Crown Lands, Wellington, up to 5 o'clock on the afternoon of May 21st., 1917. NO PERSON shall be eligible as a Candidate for election unless he is nominated in writng by at least two persons, who cm the first day of JANUARY 1917, were th e owners of any iease or license of or in respect of any Crown Lands, National Endowment Lands, or Education Reserves ' situated in the Wellington Land District, and unless the nomination paper bearing the candidate's consent is received at the Office above-named before the time fixed for the closing of j nominations. Such nomination papers will be supplied on application to the Commissioner of Crown Lands, Wellington.
Sbcuhd only one nomination be received, such candidate -will be dedared duly elected, provided he is otherwise eligible for election, the date of which election (if required) ill be duly notified.
