TAIHAPE SWIMMING CLUB.
TO-MORROW’B CARNIVAL,
The Taihape Swimming Club will hold their annual sports meeting at the Municipal Baths to-morrow afternoon. The Club has arranged an interesting programme of events, which includes diving competition, fancy costume race, 100 yards handicap, 50 and 25 yards handicaps, schoolboys’ races, ladies’ race, etc., etc. Large entries have been received for all events, all the best swimmers in the district having signified their intention of competing.
The first event is timed to start at 2 p. n. and intending spectators are advised to attend early and secure a good position to view the events.
