ROBBERY UNDER ARMS.
MASKED MEN AT PALMERSTOS NORTH. PALMERSTON X., Feb. 12. A sensational case of robbery by masked and armed men has been reported to the police. When Mr N. H. .Sinclair, manager of Watson Brothers' grocery store, reached his heme, he was held up by two men who were hiding in hi? They rifled Ms pockets, bins. he only had sixpence with -aim. Then they marched him a considerable distance down the road to an old gravel pit, where they took the keys of the store from him. Sinclair made an attempt to break away, but one of the men fired at him. He pretended to be hit, and his assailants took to their heels. On the previous Saturday night a taxi-driver was robbed of a small sum of money by two masked men.
