The Benin Tost, according to the Dus soldorfcT General Anzeigcr, published an article by Baron Zcdlitz on Marshal von Hindenburg's birthday, in which ho says, inter alia: — "If now, in view of the difficulties of supplying the people with food, the Imperial Government is repeatedly reproached with having neglected economic, preparation for the world war, it may be pointed out that the Imperial Chancellor as early as 1911 requested the Ministry of the Interior to begm economic preparation for the war.
