An advertising committee was elect ; ed, and all preliminary business ir connection with the forthcoming car nival was gone into. It was decided, in order to obtair some idea of the form of the various swimmers to hold a 25 yards dast handicap race next Thursday evening February 1, entrance free. Mr. Todt is donating a prize, and the entries close with the secretary, care box 12 at 12 o’clock on Wednesday. Jan 31. It was decided to offer to the Re( Cross the solo right of 1 providing af ternoon tea at the sports, the pro ceeds to go towards their funds.
