NEW GERMAN OFFENSIVE IMMINENT.

MOST VIOLENT AND WIDESPREAD STORED-UP FRIGHTPULNESS TO BE LOOSED. Received 9.10. LONDON, Jan 21. The Daily Chronicle’s Amsterdam correspondent states that reliable news from Germany shows that when the naval and military preparations are complete, Germany will suddenly revive a widespread and most violent warfare with large new armies and numerous new submarines, which will soon be ready. The new armies are said to number 120 corps, and will consist largely of men between 40 ana 45, with the youngest livers already concentrated on the West and in German depots, suggesting a confirmation of the reports that Germany will early attempt a new offensive on the West. It seems there is every probability this will open in a few weeks, with all forms of frightfulness stored up, including new gases.
