ATTEMPTS AT ASSASSINATION.

Received 9.15. AMSTERDAM, Jan. IS. Two attempts have been made to assassinate Count Tisza, the Austrian Premier, since the new year. There are indications of further efforts being made by the Opposition to remove the man responsible for Hungary's rum. The first was an attempt on the bridge opposite Parliament House in BudaPesth, when two students fired revolvers at the Premier, but missed. One jscaped, but the other was hanged ivithin twenty-four hours. A few days ater two shots were fired from a crowd idien Count Tisza was leaving Parlianent, one of which made a hole in Tisja's top hat. The crowd protected the »rould-be assassin,, and the police were ielpless. v A secret societies in Hungry have passed a resolution that ITisza must die!"
