GERMANY AND SWITZERLAND.
LONDON, Jan. 10. Colonel Feyler, writing to the ris Jon^al,'' says it would not advantage Germany to invade Switzerland. He points out that a junction of the French Italians and English could be effected through the Rhone Valley and the Simplon Pass. The Germans would be forced to operate upon an immense new front/not to speak of the operation of a quarter of a million of Swiss troops, 'w&oW it would be necessary for h'QJkto in a few days. Even if''this was accomplished there would be fresh battles in the Alpine defiles leading to the Lombardy Plain or the .eastern French plateau.
