RUSSIAN PROGRESS. IN THE RIGA SECTOR. LONDON, Jan. 10. A Russian official message says: "The battle west of Riga, continues. We captured a position between Tiavl Marsh a dnthe River Aa. Since the 25th we have captured 21 heavy and eleven light guns. RUSSIANS' REAL SUCCESS. GERMANY UNEASY. AMSTERDAM, Jan 11. Telegrams from Berlin state that military circles are impressed by the importance of the Russian offensive at Riga. Never was more ammunition used, while the Russian attacks are more vigorous. Snowstorms are assisting the Russians, who have achieved real success, though at a heavy price. THE ITALIAN CAMPAIGN. LARGE PORCES AT ALLIES' DISPOSAL. NEW YORK, Jan. 10. The New York World's Washington correspondent says Italy has agreed to place a very large force of troops at the disposal of the Allies, who have promised Italy possession of the province of Trieste, Southern Albania, including Avlona, and the fringe of Dalmatia.
