THREE STARS. There will he a varied and interesting programme submitted this evening, containing two star pictures,. “Jungle Outcasts,’, In this production you will -have plenty of excitement. It shows how a girl is wrecked and washeid ashore on a raft; she lives among savages with her child until she is able by mental telepathy to draw her husband to the rescue before the lions break in. Another of the popular Triangle Keystones, “Bucking Sodtety,” will be shown. In this you will seVwH is Fatty’s wife, as she takes the ing role. The supports are good* “Moscow,”( scenic). The Better (drama), Topical Budget, A Trip the West .Indies. Alladin’s Lamp (cartoons). , £ EVERYBODY’S. At the Town Hall to-night the 5-act World Film feature “Lola” will he screened for the last time. The third episode of the “Broken Coin” serial will also he shown and the Chaplin comedy, “Charlie by the Sea.” The feature of the new programme for to-morrow night will be “The Cub” presenting Martha Hedman in the leading role. “The Unveiling,” another splendid drama, and a wholesomely funny comedy “When Lizzie went to Sea” are other good films. The latest war journal will also he screened. SELINSKY AMADIO CONCERT CO. The Selinsky-Amadio Concert Company will appear in the Taihape Town Hall next Friday evening. There are four artists in the company—Seiinsky, an eminent Russian violinist; John Amadio, flautist; Miss Elsy Treweek, soprano; Miss Jessie Masson, pianist. Of Seiinsky, it is said that he is one, of the greatest violinists that have Vet visited the Dominion. Critics hail him as an exponent of the violin of exceptional ability. His present tour stands in the nature of a triumphant progress. Seiinsky arrived in Australia unheralded, unannounced, and practically unknown. After his first concert in the Sydney Town Hall his playing was the main topic of conversation In musical circles. He not only gained the goodwill of the critics, but the reputation which he had established in his native country, and later in America and Canada, was further enhanced by his masterly skill on the violin. On New Year night, when Seiinsky opened his Dominion tour m the Wellington Town Hall, he scored an instantaneous success. John Amadia, flautist, is also a very fine artist. He is ranked as one of the world’s most accomplished .performers on fhe wood-wind mstrumqjP His career has associated him with such artists as Melba, Calve, and Amy Castles. As a soloist, his playing is described as, brilliant in the extreme, and the.4-ecep-tions accorded -him ■at each iuKtormance are extremely enthusiastic. Miss Elsy Treweek, the soprano of the party, and Miss Jessie Masson, nist, complete a combination /micii has been described as one of the most gifted yet heard in this country.
