I FARMERS COMPELLED TO TILL LAND. LONDON, Jan. 2. The "Times' " Dublin correspondent says the Irish Government is compelling farmers to till a large proportion of their holdings. A SCHEME INSTITUTED. Received 11.20. The Manchester GuarGian states that Lloyd George favours submitting the Irish question to the Imperial conj ference, a scheme instituted by Lord i Wirnbourne forming the basis for discussion at the conference, to have no power to make final decisions.
