GREECE COMING TO HER SENSES. Received 10.10. ATHENS, Dec 17. The Greece Government, in aeeei.ing the Allies' demands, notifies that they will be carried out as speedily a possible, and trusts the Powers will reconsider the decision to continue the blockade, which is straining relatione and impressing public opinion. They express the desire of the Government and the people of Greece for a resumption ,of the excellent traditional relations with the Entente. ■ based on reciprocal confidence. The evacuation of Northern Greece has already begun, Allied officers su pervising the transport of troops and materials. ALLIED BLOCKADE VERY STRICT Received 9.30. ROME, Dec 17. The "Tribuna's" Athens' correspondent says the blockade is exceedingly strict, and there is only sixteen days' bread in the city. The inhabitants already have their bread rationed, though meat and vegetables are plentiful. The Allies completely control the Straits of Corinth. Great Royalist demonstrations are being held in the provinces.
