DROWNING FATALITY.
'A sad drowning fatality oeurred at Wainui yesterday, by which a boy. named Willie Bishop, aged 10, lost his life. It. appears that the lad left homo at about 2..'i0 with a younger -brother, to have a swim in a dam close by. and a s the dam is oxt'r six feet in depth the elder buy was soon i?i difficulties. The younger boy watched his brot-aex d: owning without realising what was happening, and about half an hour later informed his father of what had happened. It was then too late to 'do anything but recover the body. An inquest is to be beld.
