THE DISHRAG PRESIDENT.
ROOSEVELT ON THE STUMP. LONDON. Oct. 30. The “Times” correspondent at Washington writes: “The Presidential campaign is anybody’s fight, and a whirlwind finish is expected. It is eclipsing the war in the newspapers. Mr Roosevelt has again attacked President Wilson, surpassing his former utterances, an declaring that Dr Wilson spoke bombastically and carried a dishrag. He sapped America’s fibre by making public promises which he never meant to fulfil.”
