WHAT SOCIALISTS MEAN.
Mr Victor Grayson, in a lecture, said: "After the present great war had been concluded, another greater war, which had been going on for years, would be removed. But with the difference that in the past Labour had always been unorganised and ill- , disciplined, and in the future the workers, who had learned their lessons at the front, would be organised and able to use the power that had been taught them to use against their country's foes. He hoped that that fore© would not be necessary, but if strikes did occur the worker would be in a postion to use it, and would not shrink from the sight of a gun or bayonet, which had been their undoing in the past. Food, fuel, shelter and clothing were first required ror all—and there were some who did not have those necessities —and after that more comfort was wanted. The fight would go on till Labour won, and the victory might even come as suddenly as the present war had broken out.
