LONDON, Oct. 3. Eev. R. C. CampbelTs story of his spiritual pilgrimage has been published. It seems to confirm the view held by many Nonconformists that Mr Campbell was never a Nonconformist —at least the book reveals that ho always retained in all the essentials a love of Catholicism. He confesses that from his Oxford days his spiritual nature was closely associated with Anglo-Catholic Sacramentalism, and the imperative need of sacramental life was the real cause of his withdrawal from Nonconformity.
