TAIHAPE STOCK SALE.

Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having a very good yarding of both sheep and cattle at their Taihape sale on Wednesday, 27th inst, when all sheep yarded sold readily under the hammer. Several pens of cattle were passed, but all lines were quitted later on in the day. Small ew e hoggets 23s lid, wether hoggets 25s 3d to 25s 4d, good ewe hoggets 29s Sd, aged ewes with small percentage of lambs 28a, mixed aged ewes with fair percentage of lambs 36s lOd to 40s Sd.

Cattle—Good coloured steers, yearlings £6 19s, £7, to £7 2s; 20-months to 2-year-old steers £8 15s to £9 Is, dairy heifers £7 12s to £8; dairy cows £7 10s to £8 ss, light fat heifers £lO 10s, light fat bullocks £l6, good forward bullocks to £l4 15s, 3 and 34-year-old steers £l2 10s to £l2 15».
