Five of the men called up for the 21st Reinforcements arc unable to leave until next month and the quota is now 10 men short. Unless these ten men are obtained by the 18th insl, a ballot under the provisions of the Military Service Act will be necessary. It is to be hoped that the men will be forthcoming, so , that the compulsory provisions of the Act will not have to be applied.
