WILD SAVED THE PARTY. SHACKLETON’S APPRECIATION. LONDON, Sept. 4. Shackleton telegraphs that h e reached Wild’s Camp, on Elephant Island, on the thirtoith. He has also telegraphed Wild’s full report. Shaekle-

ton has informed the King of the rescue under divine providence of his comrades, and thanks his Maesty for his gracious message and kindly interests. The explorer says that the party’s safety was primarily due to Lieutenant Wild’s leadership, tact, and force of character.
