THE RANGIWAEA SCHOOL.

(To the Editor.) Sir, —I admit it was an error of judg ment to reply to the contemptible, stab-in-the-back tactics of “Parent” in his spiteful efforts to injure a capable school-teacher. The scurrilous and misleading inuendo could not he replied to by the man “Parent’’ sought to injure, I therefore felt the duty devolved upon me. The Committee will he glad of any assistance, and I suggest that Mr. J. Carroll should again offer himself for the seat he resigned, as he Avould thereby be better able to help himself, as well as those he is so naturally concerned about. 1 am, etc., p. j. McCann, Chairman of the llaugiwaea School Committee. •
