ARCTIC EXPEDITION WRECKED.
TEN MEN WERE RESCUED
(Received 9.55). NEW YORK, August 27. The schooner Great Bear, carrying the Bordnen Bans Arctic Expedition, was totally wrecked in the Behring Sea. Ten of the crew landed at Saint Matthews Island, and subsisted on salved provisons till Saturday, when they were rescued by a coastguard cutter.
