In the House of Commons Mr Harcourt, stated that the Government did not propose to follow New Zealand's example in building a State line p? steamships. Mr Chamberlain, in replying to Sir Ed ward Carson, said transport difficulties in Mesopotamia could not be overcomv for some time yet, but they were improving. Everything possible was being done regarding medical arrangements.
