T-he latest progress statement issued! by the Discharged Soldiers' InfoWa-J tiou Department shows that .he Jbaber of men on the register is of whom 3,577 a-o. disposed of, L»t'"o a^eunder action, and 656 for b A action.
There are at present 322 on the Employment wanted register, nona of. these being Taihape men. Six unplaced men in t.he Woliington district hav-e been nominated for different positions, but employment is wanted for a married couole where! the husband would have li jut stat-.on. work and the wife act as governess to owner's children.
