THE DOMINIONS OVERLOOKED.

A PRESS PROTEST.

(Times Service.) LONDON, July 2 0

The “Times” deplores the omission of the Dominions from the Empire Trade Committee and reiterates that the proper course was to decide Imperial policy by consulting the Dominions before the Paris Conference. It points out that only public pressure enabled Mr. Hughes to represent the Dominions and the Empire at the Conference, and asks the House of Commons to assert itself to see that the Dominions are called in to participate in the subsequent stages of after the war trade.
