The final figures of the liquor referendum are :—Six o'clock, 34/,494, / o’clock, 4830; 8 o’clock, 21,134, 9 o’clock. 178,842; 10 o’clock, 1445: 11 o’clock. 3193. Men voters outnumbered women by 36,110. Ihe absolute majority required to give effect to any iioiir was 278,450. Six o'clock closing was carried with a surplus of nearly 70,000.
