The “Daily News”, .correspondent says our bombardment preceding, the capture, of .Longueval and.Bazentin was the most stupendous, yet : seen. A . wpnderful and appalling belt of flame fringed a great arc of the hom £on. The noise was terrific. Far over to the left, also in the region of Ovillers and La Boiselle it was like a volcano in violent eruption.
