SIR DOUGLAS HAIG'S REPORT.
Received July 14, 11.30 p.m. LONDON, July 13. Sir Douglas Haig reports: Sharp infantry fighting appreciably advanced at various points. Artillery on both sides is active. We have" not only maintained pressure on the enemy, but have appreciably advanced. We captured some howitzers in one sector which will be used asainst the enemy later.
