Notice of a number of questions for and against the priceoffered have already been given in the House of Commons. Hitherto similar questions were postponed, pending negotiations. Farmers point out that Colonial wools have advanced 80 to 90 per cent on prices early in 1914. Opponents urge • the Government to impose an excess profits tax on farmers if the demands are' conceded. The agitation is bringing Colonial wool into prominence.
